I have good news for you. Your creator loves you and wants a relationship with you. Sin made that nearly impossible, but then Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sin and now, through Jesus, we can have a relationship with God. Having a relationship with God is our purpose, our source of peace, and our only source of true hope.
Jesus told us, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." You can read those words in the book of John in the Bible. The Bible is God's word, sent to us through people.
After Jesus, who is God's son, died on the cross to pay for our sin, he was resurrected from the dead and glorified in heaven. One day he will be coming back to take those who believe in him, and have repented of their sin, to be with him forever. When Jesus went to heaven, he sent his Holy Spirit to seal our salvation and guide us. The Holy Spirit fills the hearts of those who have spoken their belief in Jesus and believed in Jesus in their hearts.
The Bible tells us, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9
